Grand Slam

My wife and I both come from good sized families and always thought we'd like to have 4 kids...This year the Lord was pleased to bless us with our 4th (and final) bundle of joy, due this December. And since we're big baseball fans, we came up with a creative way to tell our family and friends. Below is the "we're expecting" announcement we sent out:

A Butcher, Baker, and Candlestick Maker

We don't own a pool, but for the kids our jacuzzi is every bit as fun. So the other night we filled it with bubble bath and turned on the jets to see what would happen. In between canon balls and bubble beards, we managed to snap a few pictures of the craziness. Enjoy!

Our Babies are Growing Up!

Our two oldest girls just started school recently, so the general schedule of the household has been rather disrupted. It's a good thing though! Alyssa started kindergarten and Emily started preschool, so for a few mornings each week, Kathie has some one-on-one time with Riggs! Here's a shot of each of them on their first days of school!

Random Political Thought

Is it just me or does anyone else think the "Obama-Biden" ticket sounds too close to "Osama Bin-Laden"? I can't help but think that's got to be in the back of people's minds when the those names appear together on the Democratic ticket. I'm not suggesting there's a link of any kind...I'm just sayin!

Scott & Juli - Family

My best buddy Scott brought his wife Juli and their kids Landon and Lincoln to visit us this summer. It was so great to have them travel all the way out here from Kansas! Since we don't get to see each other too often we took advantage of the trip and crammed as much fun stuff as we could handle for 4 adults and 5 kids! That's too much chaos to take the camera gear everywhere, but we did a quick session at a small local park for them. Check out some of the shots we snapped of their lovely family!
